Welcome to Circle of The Panda Podcast. I’m JD Ross, here with today’s guest, Foster Deck.

Foster helps run Madam Clutterbucket’s Neurodiverse Universe with his mom and sister. The trio opened the business back in 2021. The store is located in Asheville and is known for employing people with Intellectual/ developmental disabilities and offers a space for their artwork.

During today’s episode, Foster spoke about his time in high school and about the fact that learning was difficult for him and some of his classmates, not because they didn’t understand the material but because they often had different learning styles than others.

Foster went on to discuss some of his employment history. He talked about putting forth his best effort, even at jobs that weren’t necessarily what he wanted.

Overall, Foster delivered a message about embracing diversity, adapting to change, and appreciating where you are while you work to get to where you want to be.

On that note, Foster would like to become a content creator (like a podcast host that would allow him to advocate for people with disabilities and other diverse groups of the population.
